Pitchers and catchers reported yesterday, and the Tigers celebrated Valentine's Day by holding their first workout of spring training. Miguel Cabrera (above) also joined the festivities.

ReplyDeleteWhen you get a chance, you might post on the difference between what it is like now, in early spring, vs. late spring when I visited, games being played, last minute cuts being made, etc.
I just returned from a lunch break at Tigertown, where the Tigers today held their first workout for all players. Will post photos tonite. Saw Jim Leyland, Al Kaline, Lou Whittaker, Fernando Rodney, Dontrelle Willis, Bobby Seay and Nate Robertson, among others. Rodney, Kaline, Willis and Robertson all graciously signed autographs.
