Source: Tigers put disgruntled Sheffield on waivers

One day after Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland said he was "flabbergasted" by Gary Sheffield's complaints about playing time, Sheffield was among several Tigers placed on waivers by the club Tuesday, according to a major league source.

  4. sheffield does this everywhere he goes,its to bad because he so talented although his .220 average doesnt reflect it

  5. its funny at a time when our city is upside down. Kwame cant atay off the 6:00 news and the economy is terrible. We got this clown hitting .220- making 13 million a year and complaining he does'nt play enough.
