Dontrelle Willis (above in dugout before tonite's fitst pitch) started for Lakeland this evening and went 7 and 1/3 innings, his longest outing as a Flying Tiger. He took the loss and his record fell to 0-3 w/ a 4.50 ERA. He gave up 4 runs, all earned, on 6 hits, faced 30 batters, walked 2 and struck out 6. He got 9 ground outs and 6 fly outs.

If Lakeland is too advanced for Dontrelle, then what is the next lowest level to send him to.
ReplyDeleteAfter Lakeland, next lowest level is West Michigan (low A), then the Gulf Coast League, followed by Wayne State UNiversity or Butzel T-ball.
