Merry Christmas

Just a quick note to say Merry Christmas to my fellow bloggers. It has been 40 years since I have seen Shields, Bouie, or Marty Budner. It has been fun reconnecting on these pages, talking about our common passion - baseball, specifically the Tigers. I hope that all of you and your families have a wonderful holiday season and a great year in 2009.

    Merry Christmas to ya'll too, it really has been fun. But Chuck, really, my wife, Debbie and I would come to O'Grady's, and we met "only" 36 years ago, so you have seen us in less than 40 years.
    Nevertheless, it's been too long. You need to plan to meet us in spring training. Looks like I'm going to miss '09, but I'll make every effort to make it in 2010.

    I agree, it has only been 38 years since we met in 1966, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Merry Christmas to all. I look forward to getting together in the spring or sometime in the summer in some warm location. The best to all of you in the coming year. It will be a great year.

    Oooops, I guess that it has been 42 years. Sorry Charlie, but I have not seen you probably since 1972, so that still only makes it 36 years.
