Hate to keep Harping on the Granderson Trade, but...

Most HR's in the majors in the last 18 months?
21 this year?
You see his RBI/almost HR this afternoon against the cubs?

  1. Gregg, with all due respect, so what? Let it go. He plays half his games in Yankee Stadium. He wouldn't put up those numbers in Detroit. We traded Granderson and Edwin Jackson for Austin Jackson, Scherzer, Schlereth and Coke. I think it was a great deal for Detroit.

  2. The only clear winner in that bunch is Scherzer. Jackson's value is to be determined. Right now he sure strikes out a lot.

  3. Strikeouts don't bother me. They're better than hitting into double plays. Now if you really want to complain about a trade, look at how well Jurrjens is pitching for the Braves after we traded him for Renteria, who lasted one year in Detroit and did nothing.

  4. Totally agreement from me there! Saw him pitch a masterpiece against the Rangers the other day.

  5. Which brings up a question: Would Jurrjens have pitched as well if he stayed in Detroit? Braves are known for developing pitchers. Tigers no so much.
