The future of Ryan Rayburn

One of the stations I listened to today said that Ryan Raybrun will not be offered a place on the 40 man roster, which should be announced shortly.  Is that Leyland's decision?  What say ye?

    Well, maybe offer him a minor league contract. But I think it comes down to "who else do we let go?"
    Maybe it's time to start the player by player analysis we talked about doing before the season ended. We should probably start with the guys on the "deep end of the pool" like Rayburn, work our way through any free agents like Sanchez, and then discuss players who have had a few problems, but are still solid starters, like Porcello.
    Sound like a plan?
