OK - all you 3rd place finisher predictors - what do you say now? I am pumped! Loved the post the other day about Verlander, but in this blog Iam no longer able to comment, but JV does deserve MVP consideration where would the Tigs be without him? It sure is exciting and fun to go down to the new corner. Looking forward to an awesome September. How long before Inge catches - this week I am sure. I am so glad to see Inge back - he is my Tiger. "Bless you Boys!"

    I'll eat a little crow, but just a little.

    JV is great (why can't you post anything you want here?)But the Tigers should thank their lucky stars they're in the AL Central. In the East they would be in third, only by virtue of their win this afternoon, and in the west, they'd be tied for second, but just a few games out of fifth. They have little pitching beyond JV, and I get queasy whenever Penney-for-your-thoughts starts.
    I hope they keep on winning. Yes, I'm still a fan, and winning gets them on national TV, where I can see them?

    Yes Tigers benefit from playing in the AL Central but once the playoffs start regular season record means nothing. Just ask the 2010 Giants.
